Cartridge construction
A replacement cartridge is a complete sealing and support system, not only pleated media. Each component must match the collector so dust travels through the media instead of bypassing it.

The outer screen supports the pleats and helps protect the filter surface from handling damage and heavy incoming dust.
The pleated pack provides the filtration area. Media chemistry and efficiency are selected for the dust, temperature, moisture and release characteristics.
The inner screen resists collapse under airflow and pulse cleaning. The bottom-cap geometry completes the structure and must match the collector configuration.

Filter-life guidance
Replacement timing depends on dust loading, airflow, cleaning performance and process conditions. A rising, non-recovering differential pressure is a common sign that a cartridge is approaching the end of its useful service life.

Match the current part number where possible, then confirm outside diameter, inside diameter, overall length, end-cap style, gasket location and media. Photos of both ends are helpful.
Surface-loading media captures more dust near the outer surface, which can improve pulse-cleaning release. Depth-loading media captures particles throughout the media structure and may be appropriate for different duties.
No. Efficiency must be balanced with airflow, pressure drop, cleaning behaviour, dust characteristics and the collector design. Use the media specified for the application.
MERV-rated cartridge media is not automatically HEPA. HEPA is a separate performance classification. Request an application review if certified HEPA performance is required.
