Heavy removal
For weld grinding, rapid stock removal and aggressive cleanup.
A flat-profile zirconia flap disc for controlled grinding, weld blending and surface preparation on steel and stainless steel.
Forvane Aluminum Type 27 grinding wheels are formulated for aluminum and other non-ferrous metals. Their application-specific abrasive system helps limit loading while supporting controlled weld removal, edge preparation and surface shaping on softer metals.
Available in packs of 10, 25, 50, 100, 500 and 1,000. The structured quantity ladder provides lower per-wheel pricing for aluminum fabrication and production replenishment.
Use only on compatible materials and equipment. Verify the maximum RPM, correct guard and mounting hardware, inspect the wheel before use, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
For weld grinding, rapid stock removal and aggressive cleanup.
A versatile choice for grinding, blending and everyday fabrication.
Controls scratch depth while preparing metal for the next step.
For lighter blending and preparation before coating or finishing.
Choose Type 27 for broad contact on flat plate, sheet and larger surfaces. The flatter working angle supports controlled blending and surface preparation.
Choose Type 29 when concentrated pressure is useful for welds, edges, contours and faster material removal.
These discs are designed for steel and stainless steel. Use dedicated discs where your process requires cross-contamination control.
A flap disc uses overlapping coated-abrasive flaps to grind and blend at the same time. This can reduce tool changes when the operation needs both material removal and surface refinement.
They are 4-1/2 inches in diameter with a 7/8-inch arbor. Confirm your grinder arbor, guard and maximum spindle speed before use.
Choose a locked pack of 10, 25, 50, 100, 500 or 1,000. One selected pack is added to cart, preventing accidental non-standard quantities.
