Forvane Non-Ferrous Type 1 cut-off wheels are formulated for cutting aluminum and other soft metals while also supporting stainless-steel applications.

Select the complete wheel dimensions—diameter, thickness and arbor—then choose a locked production pack. The thin .045-inch profile helps produce fast cuts with controlled kerf on fabrication work where a general steel wheel is not the right match.

What do the three wheel dimensions mean?

They identify diameter, wheel thickness and arbor size. All three must match the tool and application.

Should I choose general purpose, premium zirconia or non-ferrous?

Choose general purpose for everyday steel and stainless work, premium zirconia for demanding production cutting, and non-ferrous for aluminum and soft metals.

Can I use a wheel above its maximum RPM?

No. Never exceed the wheel rating. The wheel and tool must be compatible, and the lower maximum speed always governs the setup.
