They are suitable for continuous-duty laser welding and laser cutting environments where accuracy, durability, and uptime are critical.
Machinist’s Vault lenses are compatible with a wide range of fiber laser heads and are ideal for production shops, integrators, and OEM applications seeking dependable optical performance at a competitive cost.
OEM-COMPATIBLE LASER WELDING & CUTTING OPTICS
PROTECTIVE OPTICS FOR PRODUCTION CUTTING
Acts as a replaceable barrier against spatter, smoke, dust and process debris.
High-transmittance coatings help preserve beam power and cutting quality.
Controlled dimensions support correct seating, sealing and repeatable installation.
Quality materials reduce contamination-related lens failures and unplanned downtime.
Multi-layer anti-reflection coatings and optical-grade fused silica protect the laser head while preserving beam integrity.
The protective window isolates more expensive internal optics from spatter and debris. Correct size, coating range, cleanliness and installation are essential to reliable cutting performance.
“Engineered with precision materials to protect optics, preserve beam quality and reduce downtime.”
INSTALLATION GUIDANCE
Power down the machine, allow the cutting head to cool and clean the service area before opening the optics assembly.
Remove the retaining ring and seals carefully, then lift the existing protective window without touching optical surfaces.
Confirm the diameter, thickness and coating orientation. Handle only by the edge and reinstall seals in the specified order.
Check seating and sealing, then run the manufacturer's inspection or low-power test before returning to production.
Installation notice: component order, coating orientation and torque requirements vary by cutting-head model. Brand references identify compatibility only; these are not represented as original branded parts.
PROTECTIVE-WINDOW SUPPORT
Inspect it during routine cutting-head maintenance and replace it when contaminated, scratched, pitted, discoloured or no longer delivering consistent cut quality.
Replace the window. Coating damage can increase absorption, heat and reflected energy, reducing beam quality and risking damage to internal optics.
No. Match diameter, thickness, optical material, coating wavelength, power rating and cutting-head position to the listed compatibility.
Spatter and process debris can reach expensive focusing or collimating optics, causing contamination, poor cutting performance and premature optical failure.
No. These are OEM-compatible protective windows. Brand names are used only to identify intended compatibility.
Yes. Send the cutting-head model, existing part number and measured diameter and thickness so our team can help identify the correct replacement.
