Polar FinishMaster Vibratory Bowl — Industrial Deburring for Canadian Shops

The Polar FinishMaster vibratory bowl is a round, media-filled finishing machine that uses controlled vibration to deburr, polish, and surface-finish batches of parts. Available in four capacities — FM-2010, FM-2000, FM-4000, and FM-6000 — the FinishMaster series suits small-to-medium volume production in CNC machining, metal fabrication, and contract manufacturing environments.

The solid urethane-lined bowl protects both parts and media throughout the finishing cycle. An adjustable eccentric weight system lets operators tune media flow and aggressiveness to match part material and required surface finish — from light edge radiusing on aluminum to aggressive deburring on hardened steel. Single-phase power on all models means no special electrical infrastructure is required.

Machinist's Vault supplies Polar Finishing Equipment bowls to shops across Canada. Contact us to configure your FinishMaster with the right capacity, media type, and compound system for your production volume.

Frequently Asked Questions

The FM series includes four models: FM-2010 (tabletop, ~0.5 cu ft), FM-2000 (floor model, ~0.5 cu ft), FM-4000 (~1.3 cu ft), and FM-6000 (~3.0 cu ft). We recommend the right model based on your batch volume and part dimensions — contact us for a free sizing consultation.

Plastic and ceramic media are the most common choices. Plastic media is recommended for aluminum and softer metals to avoid surface damage; ceramic media provides faster cutting on steel and harder alloys. Steel pins can be used for burnishing. We can supply a media package configured for your specific parts.

No. The FM-2010, FM-2000, and FM-4000 all operate on 110 or 230V single-phase power. The FM-6000 requires 230V single-phase. None of the FinishMaster models require three-phase electrical infrastructure.

Most general deburring runs are 20 to 60 minutes depending on material, part geometry, media type, and required finish. Aggressive deburring or fine polishing may require longer cycles. We provide estimated cycle times for your specific application during the quoting process.

Standard lead time is 6–10 weeks after receipt of order (ARO). Freight to Canadian destinations is quoted separately. Contact us for warranty terms specific to the model you are ordering.
