Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about ordering, specifications, and options.

How do I order and what information do I need to provide?
Use the Request a Quote form on this page to send us your requirements. Include: the model number(s) you're interested in, any add-on options (VFD, compound dosing, pneumatics, PLC), your delivery province/city, and a brief description of your application (part material, size, volume). We'll respond within 1 business day with a formal quote, lead time confirmation, and freight estimate.
Are these machines available in Canada?
Yes. Machinist's Vault is the Canadian distributor for Polar Finishing Equipment. We handle import, customs clearance, and domestic freight for all orders across Canada. Machines are available with 240V single-phase or 240V/600V three-phase configurations suitable for Canadian electrical standards.
What is the lead time?
Lead time is 6–10 weeks after receipt of order (ARO). These are built-to-order machines — we do not carry finished inventory. If your project has a specific deadline, please mention it in your quote request and we'll do our best to accommodate or provide an accurate timeline.
Can I get media, compound, and accessories with my machine order?
Yes. We can source and bundle the correct media type and compound for your application with your machine order, so you're ready to run on day one. Ask us about media recommendations when you submit your quote request — just include your part material, size, and target finish.
